Yvonne O'Brien, MA LMFT is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. Her basic EMDR training was with Sonoma Psychotherapy Institute in 2017. Brenda Frechette, Ph.D., is in private practice in northern California after 40 years of public service in community agencies. Kevin Edward Rowland, MS, LCSW has been a mental health professional for over 25 years. He currently works in private practice in San Francisco and Oakland providing trauma informed psychotherapy to adults. He specializes in treating Attachment Trauma and Addictions.

Adriana Martínez, originally from Mexico City, immigrated to California as a young child. She is a bilingual, bicultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker who owns a private practice in the SF Bay Area and serves as a Clinical Supervisor and Wellness Consultant for K-12 schools, specializing in the development of youth mental health programs. Today, she leads transformative wellness initiatives in schools aimed at delivering coordinated care, reducing stigma, and enhancing access to mental health support for all students. The SonomaPTI training model is now being licensed to select, highly qualified EMDR International Association Approved Consultants. These EMDRIA approved providers of basic training meet EMDRIA standards and are separate business. They use the same training format as our original Northern California program.

They schedule four two-day weekends about four weeks apart with consultation sessions included. They use the same participant manual and the same presentation slides.
