Adriana Martínez, originally from Mexico City, immigrated to California as a young child. She is a bilingual, bicultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker who owns a private practice in the SF Bay Area and serves as a Clinical Supervisor and Wellness Consultant for K-12 schools, specializing in the development of youth mental health programs. Today, she leads transformative wellness initiatives in schools aimed at delivering coordinated care, reducing stigma, and enhancing access to mental health support for all students. Through her leadership, she supervises mental health interns and pre-licensed professionals in school-based settings, focusing on social justice and culturally responsive support within a multi-tiered system of care. In her private practice, Adriana offers support to adults from Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities, as well as individuals with other intersecting marginalized identities, including those who identify as LGBTQ+.
Adriana completed basic EMDR training in 2020 and is currently a Consultant in Training (CIT) and staff at Sonoma Psychotherapy Institute working toward EMDRIA Consultant status.
